Second Key started with problems I couldn’t solve for myself. My husband and I own an investment property in Tennessee, and from a distance, even simple things became a headache - finding someone to grab mail off the porch, letting the HVAC tech in for a routine visit. Then, when my father passed away, I found myself managing his estate from out of state and needing something different: not a property manager, just someone I could trust to let an inspector in or check on the house before and after a hurricane. In both cases, there was no one I could call who I actually trusted to just handle it. So, I built the service I wished existed.

I’m a licensed CPA and licensed real estate broker, so accountability isn’t just a value I hold - it’s how I’ve built my professional life. I left public accounting to raise my family, and today I’m a solo real estate practitioner who only takes on clients who are friends and family - because I know what it means to be trusted with what matters most.

Originally from Jamaica, I have been a resident of South Florida for over 10 years and have made Chapel Hill my home for the last three years. I’ve been married for 14 years and am raising two beautiful daughters - so I understand the weight of caring for a home and the people who love it, even when you can’t be there yourself.

With Second Key, I visit your home once or twice a week to bring in your mail and packages, check that every door and window is locked, and perform a perimeter check of your property. I am also available for one-off needs - letting in an inspector, a special check in during a storm, whatever gives you peace of mind. It’s the kind of simple, trustworthy care I wished I’d had, in more ways than one.
